The 2nd Ranger Infantry Battalion is a Realism Unit for Darkest Hour, a Red Orchestra mod.
We base our unit off of the real 2nd Ranger Battalion during World War II. We follow the same chain of command, award the same medals, and follow the same restrictions and regulations that were in effect in that time period. When you enlist, you'll be introduced into a squad of your peers and they will be responsible for training you in like a replacement going into combat for the first time. If you have never played realism before, we host Public Realism scrimmages every so often, so you can get a first hand glimpse of what it's all about. If you like what you find and decide to enlist, hold drills every week to help introduce you into the finer points of scrimming and help you just become a better player in general. First we'll help you understand the tactical aspect, and then teach it to you in different exciting ways inturn meshing all the different variations, and the multiple concepts presented. If you are looking to enjoy a new aspect of online gaming, if an older age group interests you, or you just want to have fun and try something new, enlist with the 2nd Ranger Battalion.
